Lengaoan-Waking ES is renamed Lengaoan-Waking Integrated School

To bring the school with complete basic education closer to the learners, Lengaoan-Waking Elementary School is now renamed Lengaoan-Waking Integrated School in Bunguias, Benguet by virtue of the unnumbered regional memorandum issued by DepEd Cordillera Regional Director Estela L. Cariño on June 11, 2021.

Said conversion into an integrated school was based on the feasibility study conducted by Moresto Angyatao, Head Teacher III, who claimed that there were no secondary schools inside the barangay within the two (2) kilometer radius that would cater to the education needs of school-aged learners.

The feasibility further claimed that parents are strongly clamoring for the creation of a Grade 7 at Lengaoan-Waking ES so they would have a closer watch of their children and to make sure they are in school.

For this School Year 2021-2022, there are two classrooms available for the 27 Grade 7 students and eight Grade 8 learners, who are expected to be the first products of the said school.

Meanhwile, armchairs and blackboards will be provided by Lengaoan-Waking ES while the other needed materials shall be constructed by the community, who assured their willingness.

Based on the Original Plan of land of Lengaoan-Waking Elmentary School, the school has wide and stable land area to house additional school buildings and other learning and support facilities for high school department.

Integrated school refers to a public school that offers kindergarten, elementary, junior high school and senior high school education.
